Grandma Lucy's Oven-Baked Dog Treats are little bear-shaped cookies that, to be honest, taste delicious. No seriously, they were handing out the blueberry ones at SuperZoo and many attendees were happily snacking. That's because these are made with human-grade ingredients, in a bakery. The ingredients include wheat flour, cane juice, brown sugar, canola oil, rice starch, and pumpkin powder. No meat, no eggs, and nothing super yucky. They're even safe for some dogs with allergies!
Good For: Handing to dogs on my way out the door without making my hands smell all gross. Families with toddlers that like dog food. Dogs with egg, corn, or meat allergies.
Not Good For: High-value training treats. Looking normal when you eat one in public.
How Much We Like Them: I had purchased a huge bag of their blueberry cookies ages ago, and could never remember who made them until I saw these at SuperZoo.

Treat Tuesday: Wagatha's Maple Bacon Dog Biscuits
This box of Wagatha's Maple Bacon Dog Biscuits arrived in our allergy-friendly BarkBox a few days ago. They smell amazing. Made from barley flour, bacon, maple syrup, and cinnamon, they are safe for Brisbane's poultry and egg allergies.
Good For: Stuffing in Kongs and other food toys. Giving the dogs something to munch as I head out the door. Handing out treats that don't make my hands all smelly.
Not Good For: High-value training treats. Ru, who was totally unimpressed.
How Much We Like Them: I almost want to taste these biscuits. I mean, I like maple bacon, and cinnamon, and they smell so good...

Treat Tuesday: Dino Tracks Cookies from Daisy and Oscar's Gourmet Bakery
These adorable Dino Tracks cookies from Daisy and Oscar's Gourmet Bakery (D.O.G. Bakery) arrived in our dinosaur-themed June Pet Gift Box. They are poultry-free, egg-free, and quite tasty, according to the dogs. They are also quite dense and crunchy.
Good For: Special occasions. Handing to the dogs as I walk out the door and not getting my hands all stinky.
Not Good For: High-value treats. Breaking into tiny pieces for training.
How Much We Liked Them: Enough to scour www.DogBakeryOnline.com to see if they sold them or whether they were Pet Gift Box exclusives. Not enough to contact them and ask where to get more.

Treat Tuesday: Fruitables!
Fruitables dog treats are obviously made by people who like training dogs. They are awesome for training because they are tiny, and they are made in the USA so they are likely to be safe. I've used quite a few of these treats, and these are the favorites here.
Good For: Sticking in food toys. Handing the dogs on my way out the door without making my hands smelly. Doing Relaxation Protocol.
Not Good For: High value training treats.
How Much We Like Them: Enough to buy another bag every time we run out. I love the way these smell.
Good For: High value training treats. Breaking into little tiny pieces along the score lines. Sticking in food toys of all sorts.
Not Good For: Keeping my hands clean and unsmelly.
How Much We Like Them: I sent a bag home with each of my foster puppies when they were adopted last week. Congrats Syd and Darla!

Treat Tuesday: Max & Ruffy's Blizzard Bites
These Max & Ruffy's Blizzard Bites came in our winter-themed January BarkBox. They are molasses and ginger-flavored, and smell very gingery. They are made in the USA, and contain buckwheat flour, olive oil, molasses, and spices.
Good For: Dogs with food allergies. Handing to the dogs as I walk out the door, without making my hands smell like death and horror. Being a low-value treat for training.
Not Good For: High-value training treats, Super-picky chihuahuas. Non-food-motivated puppies.
How Much We Like Them: Probably not enough to buy them again, but enough to keep them and use them rather than foisting them off on my unsuspecting coworkers.

Treat Tuesday: Isle of Dogs Mini-Size Health Biscuits
I love Isle of Dog's mini treats because the shape works so well in our different toys. The cookies are just the right size to drop in the bottom of a Kong, and they are small enough that I don't feel guilty giving them to the dogs just because I feel like giving them cookies. There's just something about bone-shaped biscuits, I think it's the fact that I grew up with Milkbones being the dog cookies,

Good For: Stuffing Kongs and assorted toys. Decorating dog cupcakes. Handing out cookies without smelling like dog biscuits. Spoiling spoiled dogs.
Not Good For: High value training treats. cramming in Kongs for poorly-motivated chihuahuas.
How Much We Like Them: This is actually the second box I've purchased.
